What happens if I abandon my mobile home in a park?
I own my mobile home but rent a space in a park. I have lived here for 5 yrs. When I moved in with my 2 children I was naive to the buying process and was told by my realtor that there was no inspections for mobile homes. It has been a nightmare!!! It was totally infested with termites, the first rain I started getting bubbles in the walls, when you turn a light switch on sometimes it goes on and sometimes you have to turn it off and on again before it works. My rent started 5 yrs ago at 775.00 a mo, as of August it will be 956.00. I am a single mom and we are now living in mold, the termites are back, my roof is about to cave in and I have severe plumbing issues under my home and a plumber said my mobile home will start sinking unless I come up with 7,000.00 dollars to replace all my pipes. My 5 year lease is up in August and they want me to sign another one. I can not continue to live here with my 2 children. Sorry to go on, but my question is; What will happen if I walk away from the mobile home?

My husband and I own a small grocery store/meat market/deli in MS. Thirteen years ago, one of our cashiers was approached by a gentleman trying to buy items with food stamps that were not permissable. The cashier told him he could not purchase certain items under the food stamp program that we had in place. He then told our cashier that he needed cash and he would give her his 22.00 of food stamps for cash. She DID NOT take any money out of our register, she took the only money she had in her wallet (13.00) and gave it to him. He was an undercover agent for food stamp fraud. We service many poor people, and we need to have the program reinstated. Our application has been denied and we feel this is totally unfair. We were NOT in the store when this happened, and the cashier took the money out of her own wallet. Is there any hope of having the food stamp program again for our store.

What are the statutes(Federal and State) for factoring? Meaning when you have a manufactured good or a good in the process of being manufactured, and the factor invests in the good or inventory and the factor gets paid when the goods are sold. Do factoring laws still exist today.
