Am I required to release an employee's entire file in Louisiana?
I live in Louisiana. As an employer am i required to release a entire employee file to an employee?
Can I claim discrimination after being laid off due to a medical condition?
I was laid off recently and I believe because of a medical condition. They the probably felt I could not handle the responsibilities. I have severe arthritis and have to walk on hard cement. I limp when I walk.

Does the sale of my company terminate my commission rights?
I'm in sales and my company may be sold. My contract states: 'If terminated with cause, no commissions will be paid after the termination date'. Would the sale of the company (and my not being part of the acquired assets) constitute termination with cause in which case I would lose all my commissions?
