How Do I Get Relief from A Conviction Due to the lawyer Doing a Poor Job on My Case?
If someone is a first time offender and have a aggravated robbery charge, and the attorney didn't do anything to defend that person and offer that person 15 years with 5 to serve and 10 suspended, but the get in front of the judge and change everything and tell his client that if he she don't take the 10 years they would get 40-life. what can be done about that? when he did't go and question anyone that was involved in the robbery, he didn't show up in two court appearances. HELP ME PLEASE!
What is Georgia law on Appointing an Attorney for an Indigent Person?
I am trying to make a Motion For Appointment of Pro Bono Attorney. What I need is the Georgia Supreme Court Ruling so that I may do this. I have an example for which I got from the internet and it is called a Jurisdiction Statement. It states: Comes now the plaintiff, and must request an attorney be appointed to him pursuant to the fact that the court has already found that he may proceed in form a pauperis. Further the Missouri Supreme Court Rules provide for such appointment pursuant to Mo.S.Ct. Rule 22.07 (b)........... What I need is the Georgia law with the Georgia Supreme Court that lets me get a Pro Bono Attorney. Thank You.

We paid an attorney to take us through Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Nov., 09. He has been difficult to contact, and now we cannot contact him at all. He has all paperwork necessary to file. Is there a duty of a lawyer to help me once I have shared with him confidential information?
I discussed my case with a lawyer and he told me to sent him narrative version of my case including names of the people via email. He gave his email address. I sent my confidential and privileged information as a PDF file and I also wrote on it 'confidential and privileged information'. It is now more than five weeks. I have sent him emails and called his office many times to know what is going on and please tell me what my options are etc. But he is not responding to my calls. What does this mean and what should I do?
