Full question:
I was part of a Class Action Settlement where I was entitled to 100% of my school tuition reimbursed less attorney fees and number of claims. The pay out was at 9.92% which is a considerable difference? I feel like I've just been ripped off, what are your thoughts and/or suggestions?

Answer:
A class action settlement must be approved by the judge overseeing the case. The final amount paid to plaintiffs can differ based on the specifics of each claim. Some plaintiffs may receive different amounts than others. Payments are often reduced by attorney fees and court costs. I recommend reviewing the settlement agreement closely to see if you are eligible for additional reimbursement.
