My mother is 71 and has cancer with about 1 year to live. My dad is 81 and may live 2 years. They have a lake house worth about $85000 that they would like my wife and I to have now. From a tax perspective what is the best way to transfer the house from their ownership to my wife and I owning. What are my options? What forms will I need and can I do myself or should I hire a lawyer.

I live in WV. I have been working with Chase for the past year sending information back and forth for a loan modification. FINALLY, on the 18th day of October, 2011, I called Chase Modification Department and talked with a girl by the name of Jody Tripp who told me they had everything they needed and was now waiting to be assigned a person for the second aspect of the modification and that I would be talking with her from now on. I called about an hour ago to see if they needed anything, and was told they had foreclosed on the property yesterday. Is there anything I can do? I am sick... Thanks.

I have a timeshare I want to be rid of. How can I get out of it..owned for many years

Homeowner owes Assocation dues of $400 for 2010 and $1250 for 2011 (not prorated). Property is being foreclosed. What form is used to file a Homeowner's Assocationl lien against the property for dues owed?
