My two teen daughters, 16 and 17, keep trying to tell me that at age 17 they can make legal decisions on their own, that they can have sex legally with someone over 18 without that person getting into trouble. I do not agree. It is my understanding that I am responsible for them until they reach the age of maturity, which is 18 in Missouri. Can you clarify this issue for me?

I have a 28 yr old son who is not married but had child support papers filed on him. On the form the mother stated she has 100% custody of their daughter. Does this mean he has no legal rights to visit or see his daughter?

My daughter, an 18 year old senior in high school, and is living at home. She enlisted in the Colorado National Guard upon her 18th birthday. Does that impact her status relating to child support, etc, under the Colorado Emancipation of Minors Laws?

Do facilities have the right to deny medical/billing/attendence information about a minor child to the parents? Do we have the right to ask who has legal custody of the child? Does the parent who does not have the legal custody have the right to ask for any information reguarding the child?
