What are my rights to breaking my lease when my company relocates?
I signed a lease with an apartment complex in New Jersey. My company has just announced that we will be relocating to NC. Been one of the managers I have to move with the Co. What are my rights as to breaking this lease?
How do I locate the owner of my condo to make needed repairs?
I can't locate the owner of my rental condo. The air-conditioner broke down. It's hot in the condo, and I can't get in touch with him. I won't pay the rent until I reach him. What should I do? I first entered into a lease with The Property Management, which were rental units that changed to condos. When my unit was sold. I was given a person's name, tele#, and address. Well the phone does not work and no one can be reached at the address given to me. I spoke the the manager of the The Property Management and she told me it's the Property Management's problem. Can you advise me?
