Landlord Tenant

Can the landlord enter without notice and ever letting tenants know he entered?
My daughter had just started renting a house 3 months ago. She lives with here fiance and her two children. They where suppose to rent it for a year in option to buy. The lease was made out for month to month. Just recently they came to her and ask if she would pay $900.00 instead of $850.00, if they would not agree to the terms they were going to put the house up for sale. Well of course my daughter said no. Now they are calling leaving messages when they are not at home (and they know they are not home) saying they are going to show the place on Thursday and they have to be out between 6-9. Then they call and say they are (landlords) going to move back in. Then they told them they have 30 days to get out. Not speaking to them personally or with a written notice. Can they do this when she has a 10 month old baby and a 3 year old daughter? They are tried of moving and expected to stay there, until either they could buy that property or another property. We also think they are entering the property with other people and showing it without them being there or letting them know they are coming.
When are repairs considered safety issues?
I am in a rental lease for 1 year. There is a clause that states that I must pay for any repairs that fall under $250.00. I had to call a plumber to snake out my sewer drains that lead to the main one outside. He pulled out a couple of handfuls of tree roots. I need to know if this is considered a repair or does this fall under a safety issue since it was coming up from the outside pipes and when the toilet was flush or water was ran it would cause a back up in the drain.
What is the reasonable amount of times a landlord can show a rented property up for sale?
What is the reasonable amount of times a landlord can show a rented property up for sale and also do they need a legal 24 hour notice?
If I fix damages to my rental home that landlord can not afford can I deduct that from the rent?
I lease a house in Bryan, Texas. I have had damages in this house where the landlord will not fix. I have to have damages fixed (to avoid further damages and/or damage to my personal possessions) as landlord claims to not have the money to fix. Am I allowed to subtract the amount of damages I have paid from my rent. I do NOT have the money to fix this property AND pay rent.
What are my options to terminate the lease on our rental home if the tenants violated it?
We are renting our house in Nevada to a couple who have a dog, and our lease states no pets allowed unless written notice from Landlord (Us). They agreed stating that the dog would stay with her parents. We found out however from our neighbors that the dog has been their the whole time! Our management company went over there to investigate and sure enough the dog was there. Our management company seems to not mind the dog being there because it stays in a kennel. However, this is our home and we are trying to sell it as well, and we choose not to have any pets . They breeched the contract and never let anyone know that the dog was there, what kind of eviction notice could I give. Give the 10 days to remove the dog and keep 100% of the deposit for the violation? If they refuse to give up the dog and move, can I request them to pay us the remaining balance of the lease plus keep 100% of the deposit for the breech?
