Landlord Tenant

What is the eviction law in Kitsap County, Washington State? My daughter was just served with a 3 day pay or eviction notice today. She says that she has been given no earlier notices. Is this legal? She asked the off site manager to let her know if they did not receive the rent by the 15th of the month and now they are stating that she didn't pay last month or this month and now this. Rent is due on the 1st and late on the 5th. She hadn't paid this month yet....the 5th was Saturday. She was unaware that the check last month was not cashed. She is a single mother with 20 month old daughter.

We just moved into a rental on February 22, 2007 from the state of Indiana. The home is a raised ranch with a 3/4 finished basement. The basement has a spare bedroom (carpeted) and a family room with a bar (carpeted). On April 14th we had a severe storm and the spare bedroom downstairs and partially into the family room flooded to the point there was about 2 inches of water.I called the landlord immediately on the 14th. She returned my call on the 15th and stated they would have to turn it in on their homeowners insurance and not to do anything until insurance was notified. Since the 15th I left messages for her several times and still have not received a call or anything from anyone. We now have a severe ant problem in the basement and a major odor. (mildew smell) and mold forming from the wet carpet. We signed a 1 year lease. Can we get out of it? We have a 10 year old daughter who has severe allergies to the point she is now on medication since all this has happended.

I have lived in this trailer park for about 8 years..my husband and I have had our dog Major for 5 of those years. The owner is trying to make everyone that has dogs over 35 lbs get rid of their dogs. When my husband was alive he had a good reason to keep Major because of his mental disorder. He passed away in Dec of 2006 and now she is starting to tell people that they have to get rid of the dogs or get evicted. Yes, she had a big dog clause when we moved in but she said it was ok. our first dog passed away, then we got major and have had him for 5 years....my question....can she do this ?

Can a landlord charge you a fee for breaking a lease?

I signed a 1 year lease with my landlord about 8 months ago, which he just gave me a copy of. Recently he has gone into my home without my permission and went through my home checking things out. The lease states that he needs to get my permission to enter the premises in a timely manner (which he did not). He told me that he "owns" the place and he can enter any time he wishes. To me this violates my privacy. Can I sue him for illegal entry or charge him somehow for invading my privacy?? This guy is a bully. Also when he gave me the lease I saw where he and his wife wrote things in there "after" i signed it back in September of last year. And copied my signature to the lease HE made out and took out clauses from the original that can be clearly seen. The landlord also "waived" the security on the beginning and now that the lease is almost up, he's damanding the security. (this was verbal)
