Guardianship

What are my options regarding child support after signing guardianship?
Five years ago I signed 'Guardianship' statement authored by my daughters wealthy grandfather and his wife. I have seen my daughter only once since then; now out of the blue I have received a demand from the state of Washington for child support. What are my options? I signed over guardianship to wealthy grandparents when my daughter was diagnosed with diabetes. I thought I was doing the right thing until they cut us out of her life.
What guardianship papers do we need for our daughter while we're away?
My husband and I will be out of the country for 6 weeks leaving our 16-yr-old daughter in the care of her 18-yr-old sister. What kind of guardianship papers should we put in place for occasions requiring parental signatures, such as school permissions, drivers permit, doctor visits, etc.? A friend of the family is willing to do this.
Can I give up guardianship of my adult daughter to my parents in Illinois?
My daughter is 18, almost 19. My question is can I give up guardianship to my parents who live in Illinois. We are hoping she will get in-state tuition there. Also we are looking at her losing our tricare health benefits soon. She has type one diabetes. Our income is too much to qualify her for medicaid but if she is claimed by my family and they have guardianship will she be eligible for benefits while living with them. She wants to go to college but because of health issues will take longer than the traditional student and she will be without coverage. Also, would we be left with any rights?
Can I take my grandchildren from their other grandmother without legal trouble?
My son is in jail.We hope he is getting out of jail soon. His kids went with other grandmother I lived in another state, and my son wanted me to take them home to the other state. I was told it would be difficult since I lived in another state. I moved to this state where the kids are. School is out and they want to come live with me. The other grandmother is physically and mentally abusing the children. I will be taking the kids in a week and keeping them for a couple of weeks. The other grandmother is receiving social security on the children and will fight to get them back. I have checked with juvenile office, DFS, and courts. She has not been given or filed for any kind of guardianship or custody. If I don't take them back, and my son signs papers, can I not take them back and not get into trouble. I would file for guardianship but was told it would be a $78.00 filing fee and at least $250.00 TO START and as much as $2000.00 for a guardian ad alidem (sorry if spelled wrong) I don't have that kind of money. I called Child abuse hotline last November. All they did was offer her resources for counceling. She took kids out of counceling because she didn't like what they were telling her.The kids are very scared of her. She wouldn't let the kids see or talk to their dad for 8 months til I moved back and demanded to take them. Now they see him every weekend. They have never been hit before and they say she slaps them in the head all the time and tells them she is going to put them in a foster home. Please tell me if I can keep them without getting into trouble. We were going to wait to see if there dad got out soon, but can't wait any longer.
What rights does a mother have to access her child's school records?
We have had limited guardianship of our grandson since 2000. What legal rights, if any, does his mother have as far as school or medical records. His mother is contacting the school demanding school grades/records. She lives out of state. What kind of rights does she have?
