What should I consider when creating an employment contract with my employer?
I want to create a legal and binding employment document. I am seeking to leave my current employer, but the would prefer to keep me. I would like to have a legal document that I could give to them that outlined my new requirements, etc. I have certain requirements..... Revised Salary, Immediate 'bonus' type payment to keep me, and conditions of employment, etc.
May an employer require an employee to sign waiver of personal rights as against an outside company?
Can the company I work for force me to sign a liability waiver for a customer such that I can fly in their plane to perform diagnostics? Would the company have the right to fire me for refusing?
Can an Employer Discipline Employees Unequally?
I'm looking for laws about the rights of the employee to fair discipline ie that prevents employers from punishing one person but not another.
Can the Employer Create a House Account in An Exclusive Territory?
Does a Principal have the right to make an account a house account in an Exclusively assigned territory? The account is a factory in the same state as headquarters and in my territory? I have made contacts at this particular factory and do work for other other factories in this exclusively named territory in my contract?
Do furlough days equal a lockout by an employer of union employees?
I am a City of Long Beach, CA employee. We have been directed to take 'furlough' days. We have a 'No Lockout' clause in our MOU. Are furlough days a lockout ?? Please quote the section of Law stating this .
