My adult children were requested to sign a Settlement and Release form stating that everything even their rights to their deceased father's estate would be released to his girlfriend. The estate was misrepresented by the girlfriend by her stating over and over again that their father had nothing and also she said that she would lose the house if they did not sign the notary public paper to release it to her. Both of them owned the house. They were made to feel guilty because they did not want her to lose the house so they signed the notary public paper. The value of the estate was not found out until after she started probate. My children could not afford a lawyer and actually did not understand all of the 21 paragraphs in the Settlement and Release papers. Is there anyway to make the Settlement and Release they signed to be invalid? Thank you Also I want to state that they found out recently that their father's estate is worth $200,000. This amount was not stated in the Settlement & Release papers.

Buyer trying to return a vehicle purchased 19 days ago no misrepresentation was made by me. he wants money back plus. I had item checked over before I drove it to Pennsylvania. He is sending it back today. What to do? he signed a AS IS, hand written contract I wrote.

I signed a contract with a distributor for a piece of electrical gear. The contract was based on the distributors terms and conditions as well as the factories terms conditions. The factory had a workforce of 25+ years building the product but after I signed my contract with them they sold the product line to a company that had a new work force. Bottom line is the new factory was 4 months behind a critical schedule and when it was delivered it was not built according to specifications. This happened in the State of California. Can I hold all parties liable for my loss. They concealed the sell for the product line to me therefore I would have never signed an agreement with them to build the product if I knew the truth. It wasn't until I loss my multi million dollar contract when I uncovered the facts.

I purchased an item from a shoe store. They didn't fit so I exchanged them for a different style. These also do not fit so I would like to return them. The company refuses to allow me to return them even though they are unworn because it is an exchanged item. The return policy does not indicate that exchanged cannot be returned. Since the shoes were over $100, I want to return them and get my money back! What can I do?

I purchased a car from a police officer he says he told me the engine needed to be replace I am on Social Security there is no way I can afford to replace and engine for $4500 I believe that being a police officer he should be held at a higher standard to truth. how can I get my money back I have witness that know the car and know that he knew the car was damaged.
