Restraining Order

My wife is talking divorce as she met a Canada boyfriend online I would like to stop them from talking and stop him from contacting my kids. I really would like to work things out but do not feel I can as long as he keeps talking to her is there anything I can do? like a no contact order or anything?????

i got denied a restraining order in sarasota, florida because the person i wanted the restraining order did not have two physical contacts with me. what does physical contact mean? To be physically hurt or to be physically in my presence.Since I was denied the restraining order because of the above,i was attacked in my house and was hit on the head with a crowbar. Had 34 stitches in my scalp. the person was sentenced to one year and a day in prison for aggravation with a deadly weapon. he was looking at up too 15 years in prison,but the prosecutor accepted a one year and a day plea bargain which was unbelievable. The defendant will be out of prison on November 15 of this year. I went to the circuit court today in Sarasota to get e restraining order for when he gets out of prison. the clerk told me it would be useless to get a restraining order because it would be denied for the same reason the judgedenie the first one. The clerk told me I would have to have another physical conformation with him to get the restraining order.What should I do?

I live in NJ and was awarded a final restraining in 2004. I am now considering moving to PA. Will the restraining order and support provisions contained in the order remain in affect if I move to PA?

I'm a career soldier. In the four years I've been divorced my ex wife has repeatedly threatened to go to my chain of command whenever I have so much as questioned anything she asked of me. Not wanting that kind of interference I have complied with whatever she has 'asked' me to do. On the occasions when I assert my rights with her, she sends me emails calling me names and reiterates her usual threat--she'll go to my chain of command if I don't do what she wants. The most damaging thing she's done is two years ago she sent a defamatory letter to an adoption agency my current wife and I were working with with the result the agency wouldn't work with us anymore (it's two years later and the timing hasn't been right for us to attempt adopting again), and just recently she sent a defamatory letter to my chain of command accusing me of numerous things that are not true. This spring I overpaid her on child support and when I asked her to return the excess she threatened to complain to my chain of command if I persisted in asking her to return what she owed me. I want to make this pattern of black mail, defamation, and harassment stop.

I was assaulted by my son's stepfather when going to pick him up for parenting time. The prosecutor has the charges but hasn't taken action in months. What can I do to see that some action is taken and this doesn't happen again?
