Power of Attorney

Will a Calif. limited power of attorney be valid in the Unite Kingdom or the European Union? My daughter is doing a study abroad next January in the U.K. and vacationing in Germany, and her school recommends she execute a power of attorney in case of emergency. She is 21.

I gave a 'General Durable Power of Attorney Effective upon execution' on Dec 12 2008 in front of Notary public Jeanne Robinson Carroll county Maryland, to my sister. The purpose was to act on my behalf with regards to bank matters of my deceased mother. Such matters were to be executed overseas in India where the deceased held accounts.1. What is the validity of this Power of Attorney document? Is there a time limit after which the power becomes invalid?2.If the said power is valid how can this be revoked?Thank you

I want to give power of attorney to my daughter to handle all my financial matters I do I need a special poa? Also I have a trust. Do I need a special one for this?

My mother lives in NYCHA and they placed a health care proxy on her illegally--how can she have it removed? She did not know they had done this to her and can I, her daughter, become POA for her?

I'm the representative payee for my best friend. On 8/21/09 she was in a bad car wreck and as of today she is in ICU. She has no family, husband, kids nobody but me. Now all of a sudden the Caseworker at the hospital appointed power of attorney to these 2 ladies where she used to stay at a half way house over a year ago. My friend doesn't get along with these ladies anymore. As a matter of fact my friend has all of the papers ready to be filed on these 2 ladies for a court case (re: a loan they never paid back). Now I go to the hospital today and now make a code up since I don't know the code they won't let me see her anymore. The 2 ladies won't even return my phone calls. I don't even know these ladies - never met them before.
