Power of Attorney

Is a South African Power of Attorney valid in the United States?
My parents are trying to give me legal Power of Attorney over their affairs. They live in South Africa at the moment. We have the documents filled out but we are not sure if it is legal to have them notarized in South Africa. Would that be honored here in the States? Or is there some way to have it notarized at an Embassy or Consulate?
What are the rights of a power of attorney in daily decisions?
To whom it may concern. I would like to know if a person has appointed a person in which they have a sweeping power of attorney does this power of attorney have sole right to make all and any discussions on a day to day bases? When does a power of attorney come into position? When the said party is not any longer to make discussions do to mental or physical state? In the event of a divorce in which there is a pension plan. and the party on which the person is divorcing will not produce documents in this matter of proof to the sum. Can these records be suspended?
Can an agent under a general power of attorney delegate authority to another individual?
Does the Agent have the authority under a general power of attorney to give power of attorney to another individual even if it is not specifically written in the general power of attorney.
Is a power of attorney agent liable for the principal's debts?
Is an agent appointed as power of attorney responsibile for debts obtained by principal?
Can an attorney-in-fact receive payment for their services?
Can a person acting as attorney-in-fact legal for someone (i.e., has power of attorney) take payment for services rendered?
