Paternity

The person who is on my son's birth certificate and who signed Acknowledgment of Paternity is not my son's biological father but I have already requested and received a copy of the paperwork that was signed when my son was born. My son was born in 2000. He did a paternity test on my son in 2008 from a company he found online and although I've seen it once, he refuses to give me a copy. We moved out of the residence we shared (my child and I) in June 2010 and I'm curious as to what type of support, if any my child is entitled to, as well as what rights the person on the birth certificate is entitled to concerning visitation and such. Since we've moved, the person on the birth certificate has not provided any support or any means of support. I have yet to seek any assistance because I am unfamiliar with the laws in Arizona regarding these issues. Is it better to leave well enough alone or should I be doing something different that would benefit my child? Can I be sued even if I wasn't aware of the paternity situation until 2008?

my husband is locked up and we want to get DNA done on a child that is 10 mo old he signed the aknowledgment of paternity at the hospital but is now having doubts..the courts said i have to get the legal papers and 100$ to start the process through the courts where can i get them papers so we can get the ball rolling

my son is incarcerated at the moment (violation of protective order and stalking via telephone) he is due to be released soon we've been told but the protective orders deny him contact with his children until 2013. The children are 4 and 5 yrs old now. he has not seen or spoken with them for over a year now. in the best interest of the situation, both for him and the children, he needs to terminate his rights as a father. the mother refuses to agree. do we have any other options? when he is released, he will be relocating to Texas to reside with me and his stepfather. I reside in TX but the problems are based in OK so OK law would be what was needed. thank you

My daughter's son was born 5 May 2010. The child's father was killed in a vehicular accident on 31 May 2010. Paternity has not been previously determined. What must she do in order to determine paternity, and receive benefits for her child?

I had a child 16 years ago and was unsure of the paternity( between 2 men). I married one of them and he is listed on the birth certificate.I haven't heard from the other since then. I recently received a letter from the attorney of the other man requesting a paternity test. Do I have to do that? What are mine and my son's rights?
