Can you drop out of school at the age of 16 with a parents or legal guardian consent ?

A 6th grade teacher made the following assignment: 'Research a Greek god or goddess and design a poster about that god. Included in the poster must be: Name of the god or goddess as the title, what they are god or goddess over, symbols for the god/goddess, who they are related to, drawing or picture, mythological ideas about that god.' The 6th grade child copied and printed pictures and information directly from the internet onto a poster board. The child did not cite the source, in part, because the teacher's instructions did not call for it, and the child did not know to do so. Now the child is accused of plagiarism and has had her grade reduced to an 80 out of 100. Is this legal? Was the teacher justified in her actions?

May teachers in Texas photograph students to document disciplinary issues?

How many classes and grade levels can a school make you teach in one day? i am currently teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade (Math, History, English, and Science). No breaks no aides. Alternative Ed school

If a teacher is caught not in his classroom but in his office which has no view of the classroom, and is not overseeing his students, and said students sexually assaulted 2 girls and as result police charge 4 boys in the matter. Plus, in a second class the same teacher is in his office not classroom and is aware that a strip card game is going on in the unattended classroom but only cares that the students involved are clothed. Can said teacher be fired per Alabama state tenure law? Why, if so, is the teacher protected. Children were sexually attacked as a result of his neglect to supervise his class. I would also like to know what rights a student has against bullying by teachers and fellow students.
