My wife and I have paid out around $40,000 in lawyer fees and are broke financially and emotionally. We need out of the system. My wife wants to end all fighting through the courts, but is stuck. She has court orders to follow concerning her daughter and visitation. My wife is choosing not to be involved any longer. How does she get out of the system? She has lost custody yet Judge orders her to visit at a supervised visitation place and no longer wanting to jump through hoops for the system. What does she do to keep from being held in contempt?

I have a child by someone that I lived with for twenty years, never got married and we now no longer live together. I would like to have custody papers drawn up. The child in question has lived with me for the past 3 years. Would we have to go to court and have lawyers or can I just have papers drawn up?

If I am the only means of paying for a house, and I recieve mail at the residence, can I legally be kicked out? I am not sure if my name is on the house note. But I have 3 kids, and my wife doesn't work at all. My mother in law lives with us, as well as my brother in law. I do not want to leave my brother in law high and dry, since he is the only other person that works in the household besides me. Can she kick me out without probable cause? I am not abbusive, never committed adultry or anything like that. She just does not want me to live there anymore. Is there anything I can do to prevent her from kicking me out of my home?

My sister has a child w/ a man but they were never married, but lived together for 8 years. He moved out of their home in January after physically abusing her and he has not been providing any financial help since he left. My sister is having a hard time making it financially and doesn't have any one to help her out. She lives in Texas. I offered for her to move out to Arkansas w/ me to help her w/ her 4 children (only her youngest is her ex's biological child) and help her get financially situated. Can she leave the state w/ out getting in any legal trouble since they have no custody established through a court? And if not what does she need to do to do so?

I am trying to find out the cut off date for child support. What age are they when you stop paying child support?
