I gave my car to a friend 2 yrs ago ;and i am the name on the loan of the car,and he can no longer afford to make the monthly payments we both signed and wrote up a promissory note and witnessed and signed by a notary public, so we are going to voluntary return the vehicle to where i first bought it at,it was through wells Fargo finance, i know they will resale it at an auction, and i will be responsible for the balance of what they wont get_should i wait then to take him to claims court,or should i act now? How Do I File a Lieen for Defaulting on a Promissory Note?
My sister defaulted on a personal loan and I want to file a lien against her to collect my money, where can I find the forms needed and how do I go about filing my lien. She lives in Texas. She agreed to pay the loan back by the end of September 2009 and now I have not seen a dime. I told her there would be 6% interest compounded daily for being late on her loan.

Is a Lender Required to Tell Me the Amortized Cost of a Loan Including Interest?
I had two commercial zero track lease for Chrysler financial lease indicated 52 k and change but after signing lease found out it was 75 K when you add up amortization schedule. Amoritation schedule never showed sub total but at top of schedule 22 point print is 52 K agreed number. Both trucks have been returned and Chrysler is asking me to pay balance of two leases after trucks have been auctioned off and monies applied to balanced owed. Which still leaves me 50 K in the hole, what are my options? I do not feel I owe anymore money, I feel I was taken advantage of with misleading lease documents. I need Help.
How Can a Spouse Not Be Liable for the Other Spouse's Debts?
If you are married but do not want responsibility for spouses debts or a law suits, what must you be declared. It's called femme... I think. FYI: there are NO debts or laws suits in our case at this time and there may never be any, but should something occur, I would like not to be responsible for the problem.
