Can I be sued for comments made about a resident's referral?
Hi, I am an apartment manager. I had a perspective resident referred by a very undesirable resident. This prospect kept talking very badly about the undesired resident. He also lied about many other things. I took his deposit and when his credentials came back. He is not only a felon several times, but has outstanding warrants. I have reason to believe that he may have recorded the conversation we had, which I mentioned that yes, I knew his referral and may have mentioned one or two things about she just needed help. Can I get sued for this?

Do I need personal service for the hearing default in my lawsuit?
Sir,I filed a Civil Sexual Harassment lawsuit against an individual in California.I had the sheriff serve the defendant the Summon and Complaint.I received a Proof of Service of Summon from the sheriff, which I filed with the Court. The defendant did not appear at the Hearing and is therefore in default. All other appropriate legal forms have been filed.I have now filed a Request for Entry of Default (Request) with the Court hoping to receive a monetary Judgment against the defendant.I provided service of the Hearing default to the defendant through a third party by first class mail. The Court Clerk has returned my Request and indicated that I need to have provided personal service to the defendant for the Hearing default, since the Judgment is asking for punitive damages. My question is - do I need to provide personal service to the defendant on the Hearing Default from the last Hearing or not? Thanks.
Am I entitled to compensation for my punctured lung treatment?
I had a procedure done that resulted in a punctured lung. I was sent to another doctor for the care of the punctured lung. He sent me home because the puncture was so small, he felt it would heal on it own. Twice that night I called him telling him how much I hurt. The second time he told me to tough it out till the morning. The next morning I went to see him and 1/3 of my lung had collapsed. I was in the hospital for two days. Am I entitled to be compensate for negligent, pain and suffering? Is it against the law for the doctor to do this without an attorney?
Can I sue my adversary for intentional infliction of emotional distress?
I am IN PRO PER. Can I sue my adversary (THE defense attorney) for Intentional Infliction for Emotional Distress? He won every cause of action and rightfully so!!! But a number of times he has said 'I don't believe you,' and I feel very, very emotionally distressed, and demeaned. Who made him judge and jury? Even with obvious murders like the Arizona murder - I have heard 'alleged shooter.' What are my legitimate cause of action and remedies?
