Can a landlord share personal information with unrelated parties?
Our landlord for our business had sent us an email regarding our rental payment that was returned by the bank. It contained many personal attacks against myself and my husband. The landlord though had CC'd on this email to 5 other people who have no dealings with our rental dispute. There were 3 people that I do not even know and they all live in our small town. The landlord lives in California. Is this allowed, can the landlord divulge this information to unknown people?
Can we sue for medical malpractice after a delayed gallbladder diagnosis?
My daughter 22 years old has a mental illness and was having horrible pain on her stomach, many times to emergency room, drs. visits, sometimes they admistired drugs for pain, and sometimes they didn't, they were thinking she wanted to get high, did all the regular test in emergency room, until finally the specialist surgeon perform special test called HIDA, and find out her gallbladder wasn't working properly and it was the reason of the pain, she suffered a lot for not been believed and going from one hospital to another one, been accused of trying to get high, (didn't have a record of drug/alcohol at all), now Dr. remove gallbladder, can we sue for medical malpractice that emergency room had the HIDA test and get compensation for her suffering?
Must services stop before recording a lien for non-payment?
In recording a lien for non-payment of services, must one stop providing services before the lien can be recorded? In other words, if it is of value to the provider to continue to provide services even though the initial portion has not bee paid for, MUST those services stop before a formal lien can be recorded? I am located in New Jersey. The issue is taking place in San Luis Obispo, CA. The services rendered are consulting services in which we have a financical interest after completion.
Do I need to be served after signing a waiver of service?
Must I be served if I sign a waiver of service of process? If so, is that by mail?
How can I avoid liability in a mistaken identity employment case?
I have been issued a civil court summons in an employment case. The district manager who fired a bunch of people shares my first and last name. It is a case of mistaken identity. How do I make sure I am not responsible should judgement go against him?
