Is it a violation of my lease for my landlord to enter without knocking and not giving notice?

Full question:

I have been living in my place for a bout 1 year on a month to month lease. Through out my time living here there have been multiple sitution where my land lord walked into my apartment with out knocking or giving a 24 hour notice. This has happened when I am getting out of the shower. then just a few minutes ago one of the construction workers in the building walked into my apartment with out knocking. is this a violation of my rights? I am afraid because I have lots of musical equipment in my place and I don't feel safe with it because no one is respecting my space that i am paying for. Can I sue them? Can I get money back? What should I do?
