Summons

My fiance got a second alias summons by mail. It was for an accident that she was in four years ago. We are guessing that her insurance isn't covering her for some reason. What do you think her next move should be, or does she have to do anything since she wasn't around when they left the summons?

Can a process server threaten a plaintiff over the telephone - that if he is not able to locate you he will publish a publication to foreclose on your property? Even though he was told that the foreclosure procedures are in error. I asked him to call the law firm that gave him the job and they will instruct him. He proceeded stating that that he did not care that he was going to move for a publication and I shall consider my self served. Please know that I was 30 miles away from home when he told me that he was moving for publication because every time he came to my house I was not in. Who governs the process servers in Florida? I also want to know; if the president of the condo association where we have a doorman and no one is allowed to come in without the consent of the homeowner, how he allowed the process server to come in and have the doorman walk into my apartment too?

Does a person (Citizen of Wisconsin) have to abide by a subpeona issued by a Judge or court in Illinois?

I am being served court documents, but they do not have my legal name on them, the name they are using is from my first marriage and I have not used that name in 4 years. Do I accept the documents?

I have an ex-roommate that owes me close to $30,000.00 and has not made any kind of payment for over a year now. He still calls me around once a week saying he closed a big deal, he'll pay me off next week. I found out he left his last place owing $9000.00. What can I do to collect from him?
