Mom has passed away, no will, she owned a home with her second husband, who he has not lived there for 25 years. She lived in the home. I am being told that he will get the home automatically. That her children would not have any right to heir her half.

I am handling the sale of a property for a friend who has agreed to pay me 2% of the sale rather than going through a real estate. Is there a legal form that I can have them sign that details the contract we have and will indemnify me of any liability surrounding the sale. Also, once I have a buyers offer is there a legal form that they will sign which will state that they are in contract and have agreed on a price?

PUC approved a transmission line route. There was only one route approved. The property owner that was affected by this condemnation supposedly missed the protest hearing. Now he is attempting to find an alternate route. His staff is telling people that they will be condemned and they should sign over their property to him for this alternate route for the best compensation. They contacted us and we said no. We have a runway on our land. Our neighbor to the south of us has agreed to allow them to survey and do an environmental impact study. If the CREZ line is placed here it will block our runway, we will not be able to clear the power lines on take off. We are currently getting a list of names together to put on a formal letter to send to Lone Star via an attorney. People in the community do not have knowledge about this and are believing what the landowners staff are telling them. How can we get correct information to our neighbors . One man in particular has not signed over his property and will change his mind if we can show him what the actual regulations are regarding alternate routes.
