How can I vacate a judgment after a mortgage assignment and foreclosure?
Bank A assigned loan & mortgage to Bank B. Bank A had started legal foreclosure before assignment. Bank B never recorded its new interest but continued the foreclosure suit under the now-non-existant Bank A's name. How can I get judgment vacated?

Does a life estate transfer after the death of the life tenant?
My question involves real estate located in the State of: New York. A family member is granted all property, April 2006, via 'Warranty Deed with Reserved Life Use' by their mother. Clause in deed is as follows:Excepting and reserving to the party of the first part, herein named, XXXXX XXXXX, life estate for and during her natural lifetime. This life use is personal and not assignable or transferable. She then dies. When will is read, she willed the life use of her home to another sibling. Since the entire property became the grantees upon her death and the deeds reads not assignable and nontransferable, and the other sibling is not mentioned at all on the warranty deed, does life use for this person exist?
What are the maintenance responsibilities of a life tenant and remainderman?
My step dad, 92, has a life estate on the property my mother deeded to me when she passed. The home is being neglected and now needs repairs. MY step dad feels I should be mostly responsible for these. He feels that since it is not his house he is not responsible. What are his responsibilities as well as mine. Just recently I visited and smelt gas. I called the gas company and they found two leaks and shut the gas out until repairs are done. He never smelt the gas leaks. I'am concerned about his well being and being alone in the home. It is going to take much repairs when he is no longer living there. How can I maintain the home site when I don't generate an income from it and what rights do I have? Who is legally bound to maintain?

I OWN PROPERTY THAT IS TOO STEEP TO DRIVE UP ON NORTH SIDE (200' ELEVATON CHANGE).THE OTHER SIDE(SOUTH) ABUTS A PARCEL THAT'S DEED STATES THERE IS AN EASEMENT TO MY PROPERTY ALONG ITS SOUTH SIDE. tHE PROBLEM IS THAT THE DESCRIPTION OF WHERE THE EASEMENT IS LOCATED ON THEIR DEED(IE ALONG THE SOUTH LINE) MAKES IT PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET TO MY PROPERTY WHICH ABUTS AT THE NORTH SIDE OF THEIR PROPERTY/SOUTH SIDE OF MINE. tHE EASEMENT SHOULD'VE READ ALONG THE EAST LINE OR FROM THE SOUTH LINE... DO I HAVE ANY RIGHTS?
