How Do I Cancel a Power of Attorney and Appoint Another Agent?
I brought my dad (82 yrs old) to live with me in April 2009--his daughter had power of attorney in Nev--I am in Calif and want to apply for power of attorney here-I bought one of the forms and one for cancelling the power of attorney in Nevada--is that all I need? Do I just complete it and have him sign before a Notary? Anything else I need do? Do I have access to his bank accounts then?
In Florida, how do I obtain the authority over veterans benefits for a disabled adult
My ex husband lives in Fl. and I live in MA. He is in the hospital in Fl. and is not able to handle his affairs. I need a POA so I can help him get info re veterans benefits. His son lives in Wyo and his daughter in AZ. Should I have him sign a general POA for me to get info re his veterans benefits and two separate Durable POAs for his children or can I put both of their names on one Durable POA? He has a neighbor who can get him to sign these forms.

Because she is still residing in Hawaii and will relocate to California in January would her power of attorney be a State of Hawaii or State of California? Is there a general one for all states?
