Will our prenuptial agreement hold up if we divorce?
My wife and I have a prenuptial that was initially worked upon three months in advance but was not signed until 1 week before we were married. It has a sunset clause in 10 years. We have been married for 4 years. It is her second marriage;my first. We are 53 yrs old. Will it hold well if
we were to divorce because of when it was signed? I asked her to delay marriage but she was dead set against it; it was a destination wedding.

Must a common law married couple in Texas file taxes jointly?
If two persons (male & female) are living together in Texas and satisfy the common law marriage requirement; must they file Federal Income Tax returns jointly or can they continue to filing as unmarried (single)?
Please note on my question that I am looking for 'must I' versus 'can I' on the answer.

Is my marriage legal if my husband divorced shortly before our wedding?
My husband and I were married on May 17, 2008 in Gatlinburg, Tenneessee. His divorce papers were signed off on by the judge on May 5, 2008 in the state of Alabama. It states in the decree that he can not marry again for 60 days unless to his previous wife. I just found all of this out - my question is - is our marriage legal?
