One of the advertisers on your site is DH Gate from China. Is it legal to buy merchandise from China? Many people say that Chinese merchandise is a knockoff or pirated copy. For example, there are companies on DH Gate offering wholesale lots of Disney movies. Are any of these companies licensed to make Disney movies (DVDs), and what if they are unlicensed and just making a really good copy. Would someone get into trouble with the law if they bought a wholesale lot of movies from China and tried to sell them individually in the USA? What category crime (if any) would this be?

My sisters widower (of 8 years) is still receiving 50% of royalties from Sony Music and Capitol/EMI. He has completely estranged himself from our family and has remarried. Is he still entitaled to this money???

relative to Intellectual property: We started a weight loss center the first of last year. Our business name is Advance HCG Diet Center. So we now have received a letter from 'The Diet Center' telling us that we cant use 'Diet Center' in our name. Is that correct?

I am in business as a DBA, 1 partner is going to buy me out, but it is taking much longer than it should and his buy out terms are not acceptable to me.The question is, my partner has already started a LLC with the same name as the DBA, with his new partners on the LLC, they are curently doing business under the LLC.I would think that this would be illegal, some sort of faurd?
