Is a baby born in the United States of Mexican Parents automatically an American Citizen?

I have a brother that is in incarcerated at the present time. Now, he lost his green card and is trying to get into a program that is going to help him with his drug addiction, but he needs to prove that he is a resident in the United States. Also, he now has a criminal record which I believe is a burglary charge.

If you are caught shoplifiting and items are less than three hundred and all the fomality is done that is peace office came did the needfuls and asked you to come to the court on a given date. Will that make a problem in extending your visa or if you want to apply for immigration or green card and is there any way that u can avoid taking finger print or making record as that was ur fist attempt and amount was below three hundred.

I am a Green Card holder from 1997. Recently I went to India and returned back after 180 days absence. Whether absence of 180 ( 6 months) breaks the period of continuous residence for the purposes of counting the period of continuous for applying for citizenship. I think the absence of more than 6 months alone ( absence of more than 6 months) alone causes break in the period of continuous residence.

If an illegal alien marries an American citizen and is never naturalized, is divorced by the American citizen, is this person considered an American citizen after the divorce?
