What steps should I take to continue unallocated child support?
My unallocated child support is ending in June. My divorce decree states that I have the right to go back to court for review to have it continue. Also, The ex-husband has not shown me his taxes in 3 years. I want to know what I have to do. Do I just go to court and file forms and see a judge or does this require a lawyer. Which forms do I file if that is all I have to do?
Is my ex-husband entitled to a share of my house?
My husband and I are getting divorced. In October 2006 he signed the house over to me relinquishing all claim to it. We went through a settlement and now the deed is in my name only. Now, he decided that he wants part of my house. Is he entitled to any of it?
Why am I responsible for my child's mother's rehab costs?
I am currently paying child support through child support recovery in Georgia. My son is 12 years old and lives with his mother. My child's mother has gone through drug rehab twice (not successfully either time) and each time she goes in the center my child support bill goes up approximately $2,500 for her treatment (or this is my understanding). Why am I responsible for paying for her treatment, when I have no say so in her decision making. I owe an additional $5,000 to my normal payments just because of her going in rehab on two separate occasions.
