What are the potential legal consequences for marijuana manufacturing charges?
My brother was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell, and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after 24 young plants were discovered in his bedroom closet. He is 36 years old, very gainfully employed making $65,000 a year, and without a criminal past. He has recently been into hydroponics and was also growing all kinds of legal plants. The police found only $20 on his property but took $10,000 out of his checking account--money advanced to him by the company in Texas he was scheduled to relocate to a week later. He has an excellent lawyer and financially solvent parents, so he is getting some help. My question is the possible outcome of all of this. I am terrified that he will end up in prison. What is the maximum price he will have to pay? The whole family is upside down over this. If he is charged with a felony, he can never again work in the field in which he was trained, and his whole future is obliterated.
Is there a legal issue regarding consent in this situation?
A 20 year male was spending the night with his on again off again girlfriend. They were sleeping in the same bed both in t-shirt and underwear. They have had sex in the past. She started rubbing up against him. He began touching her. She appeared to be in and out of sleep. She woke up and said let me get on top. She did and they began having sex. At this point she said oh by the way I was awake the whole time. How could you do this to me get out. He left. Every since then she has been texting him repeatedly and threatening to turn him in to the police and press charges. She admits being awake the whole time, never told him to stop, climbed on top and (excuse me for being blunt) put him inside herself then told him to get out. Is there any illegal about what happened? She has accused some one of sexual molesting her in the past.
Can my husband and his friend be charged with identity theft?
I am in the military and stationed in Texas . When I left Montana in May of 2006 I signed a Durable POA for my husband to take care of any expenses while I was there. He did not want to leave our 'retirement' home in MO. I bought a house in Texas as an 'investment' house. What I did not know was as soon as I left MO my husband used the POA to apply for real estate loans and credit extentions. In Febuary of 2007, He came down here and we signed special POA together stating that he resides in MO and I reside in TX. He told me that he was refinancing the house to pay off bills. What I didn't know at the time was he had a banker lady friend from St. Louis that helped him refince our home then took our paperwork to her friend at a title company and attempted to take my name off the title of the house. </br> I have since filed for divorce after finding out about the abuse of my POA. I have revoked the special POA to him. This woman moved into my house in MO and they tried to file a uncontested divorce with a woman who looked similar to me. I am now very worried about the twnety real estate and credit extenstion inquires on my credit report. I am worried about Identity theft with this woman being a loan offier at a bank. Can she be criminally charged since she helped with this conspiracy? Also what about my husband and this woman who looks similar to him.

Is my son facing possession charges for a bong citation?
The police came to the door and stated someone saw my son discard something along a roadside. My son admitted so to the officer. The officer stated that it was a bong and issued him a citation for possession of drug paraphernnelia. It looks like it is a fine of up to $500. Is it possession based on above? Should we fight? Should we treat it as a life lesson and have him pay fine?
