Does tasing my husband constitute excessive force by the police?
My husband had a dispute with his sister and my brother and the police were called. When the 1 officer arrived he asked to speak with my husband and my husband stated that he would put his belongings down and come talk to him. He also advised the officer that he had a back and left arm injury. My husband went to place his wallet and keys on the rear bumper of our vehicle in his moms driveway and the cop tased him in the back then slammed my husbands face on the ground. Does this constitute excessive force since their was nobody else outside for him to be a danger to and his back was turned to the officer?

my daughter wants to apply to law school. she will be 22 at that time. she had 3 misdemeanors when she was 17. domestic violence, and possession of drug parephenlia. what needs to be done to get this expunged??

When does the law state your rights have to be read? Does an obvious lie in the probable cause portion of a traffic violation give you grounds to beat a violation?
Can I reduce my littering fine after accidentally dropping a cigarette butt?
I was driving down the free way, smoking a cigarette, when it burned my finger, and instinctively dropped it. I received a 470.00 fine with a mandatory court date next month. I really don't see the punishment fitting the crime, especially because I didn't mean to drop the butt. Is there anything I can do to Possibly get the fine reduced or possibly duped. This is my first offense. I have never gotten a ticket before ever.
