i recently became the board president to a nonprofit organization recently found out that our managing director never received a contract. Now, a year later we are at will to work state TX. Do I have to give our manager a contract? Please help the previous president did offer a contract but it was never signed.

I am the president of a P.C. in NJ. This P.C. has five physician members, all for the purpose of billing Medicare and other 3rd party healthcare insurance providers. All present members of the P.C. are NJ licensed physicians. I wish to have a Pennsylvania licensed physician, practicing in Pennsylvania, join this P.C. Will the P.C., which is a NJ corporation be able to bill Medicare and all other 3rd party insurance carriers for the Pennsylvania physician?

I formed an s- corp with two other partners 6 years ago. They have since terminated me on grounds of professional misconduct . I thought I would sue for wrongful termination but then I thought...how am I an employee to be terminated? The three of us started this company and each have 3 equal shares( I just got outvoted...very limited articles in incorporation...we were naive and just wanted to get started). Is it just understood that if you are in an s corp that you are an employee and would there have to be an 'employee agreement forms' signed? We have none of those. Actually we all considered ourselves in a partnership until the &__% hit the fan! Now they don't talk like that anymore, spouting' this is an s- corp , not a partnership. Am I screwed? Please advise.

I am an independent contractor and the company I contract for has told me that I need a business name even though I am a sole proprietor. Is that legal?
