Is a newspaper protected under copyright laws?
I have a Web Site that is set up for Internet Advertising for Real Estate Agents, For Sale By Owner and Landlord/Tenants. I would like to make a service available free on my Web Site. The information provided in the service would be gleamed from local classifieds ads in locals newspapers. Do I need permission from the classified ad owner or the News Paper to
publish there information on my Web Site? The News Paper is a Public source, but is it legal for me to copy from that source and publish that information in a free service area on my Web Site?
Who actually owns a company logo?
If a company has a ticker symbol - lets say XY - who actually owns this ticker symbol. Is it the exchange or the company? The reason I am asking this is to determine if a company who has the ticker can reasonably prohibit another company from issuing press releases using that ticker. It’s not prohibited in our contracts - so I am wondering if they even can.

How do I sue someone for unauthorized usage of my photos?
How do I sue someone for unauthorized usage of my photos on their website for over 6 months. I live in Los Angeles (where we took photos, which he chose not to buy after the shoot) and he lives in London?
