If I signed a lease to a townhouse yesterday (my roommate and I saw the place and signed a lease on the spot yesterday morning) and I told my soon to be landlord in 24 hr period time. Is there buyers remorse for renter in Maryland and if so what is time frame? Do I need to put it in writing?

My daughter and her boyfriend moved in together. They agreed to split the rent and utilities. Both names are on the lease for the apartment. She put the cable in her name and he put the utilities in his name with the agreement that she would pay him the difference between the cable and utilities. He decided after 6 weeks he did not want to live in Tallahassee and returned to Fort Myers where they had both lived previously. He has agreed to pay his half of the rent for the remainder of their six month lease but is refusing to pay utilites and cable. My question is - isn't he legally responsible for his half of everything?

Does it makes a difference if one of the parties to the the prenuptial agreement is not a U.S. Citizen?

What are charges for theft of rent to own mechandise even if you have never been in trouble before.

I rent my well and sewer system, but every year the well goes out. It is almost impossible to get in touch with the owner of the well. I have a contract that says he is responsible for service and repair. It take's longer than a week before anything is done. What can I do?
