If a petition regarding contempt has been withdrawn because the defendant agrees to certain terms, but then doesn't follow through with those agreed terms, can the petition be brought back? Or, does it have to be refiled? If the original petition can be brought back, what kind of form, petition, affidavit or motion would be filed to do that?

How do I go about requesting a default judgment in law division? Do I send document to County Courthouse? How does the Judgment show up on their credit report? I am in New Jersey;defendant is in Ohio.

In California, is it malpractice or wrongful death when a patient dies of pneumonia-related to septic shock after surgery due to his inability to communicate pain. He had been over-sedated because he was incorrectly logged in as having dementia. The hospital staff never noticed that he was dehydrated from not eating or drinking; never diagnosed the pneumonia; and released him to a rehab facility following back surgery despite his primary care physician's request that he be admitted to an acute care facility. The hospital said there was no medical reason for his being in an acute care facility where he would have been monitored more closely. It is worthwhile for me to pursue a legal remedy?

I am a small business owner and had an issue with one of my vendors. To make a long story short, I did not pay him because I felt there was no reason for a service not completed properly. I missed the court date and I had a voice mail from him stating he had issued a capias for my arrest? Is this something I can call the court about? And what does this mean-they will actually come to my home and arrest me? I am confused.
