Answer:
As a tenant, you have the right to enjoy your home peacefully. However, your lease agreement may allow the landlord to enter the property under certain conditions. According to your agreement, the landlord can enter the premises at reasonable hours for inspections, repairs, or to show the property to potential buyers or tenants. This means your landlord can legally enter your home when you are not there, as long as they adhere to the terms outlined in the lease. If you prefer more privacy, you might consider negotiating with your landlord to require advance notice before entering or to limit entry to times when you are present, unless it's an emergency. This content is for informational purposes only and is not legal advice.
