Full question:
My son and his girlfriend just had a baby on 4/27/07. The girl's mother is making a lot of claims that he may not be the baby's father. He is only 17 and he signed the birth certificate without a parental or guardian's consent. Is this legally binding? Should he get a DNA test? I want to protect his rights as a parent if he is one but I do not want him to pay a hefty price if he is not the father. Can I force him to have a DNA test as his parent and legal guardian?
