Can I form a US Company for a non-resident of the United States and list business address as Japan?
In filling out my Washington LLC initial report I'm writing my sole manager's address correctly as in Japan, as well as the place of operations as the same address in Japan. All monetary concerns will be purely online sales and go straight into a business account in Washington, hence registering the LLC in Washington. Will registering both the sole manager and place of operations outside of Washington state be cause for concern as to the legitimacy or legal stability of the LLC in the eyes of the Secretary of State?
Does a LLC For Rental Property Need to be Formed in the Same State as the Property Location?
We want to form an LLC to own rental property we recently purchased in Florida. My question pertains to what type of LLC should we form. I have been informed by those in real estate that forming an LLC in Florida or forming a foreign LLC that operates in Florida are not required since you are not doing 'business' in Florida. Apparently 'business' refers to buying and selling goods as it relates to commerce. Please confirm if my understanding is correct. Advantage to form LLC in our home state is that it doesn't require us to have a registered agent in Florida. Please advise.
Can I Have Non-Citizens as Members or Managers When I Form a LLC?
I would like to start a limited liability company in the state of NY. It would be a focused on producing clothing, posters and other merchandise featuring a variety of designs. The business is intended to be mostly managed online, but we'd also like to have the option of participating in local markets, as well as to offer them to established apparel stores.Currently we are 3 people involved, the designer, the marketing specialist and me. However they don't live in the U.S., nor they are U.S. citizens. I wanted to know, how to proceed in this particular case where two of the members aren't citizens or live in the country.Thanks.
