I signed a property purchase agreement as seller. The buyer had not signed at the time. When he signed, instead of signing his name as expected, he signed a company LLC name. I objected, as I never intended or agreed to sell this property to a company. In fact the realtor described the buyer's intentions as 'to build a home for his family'. Now the buyer and realtor insist I'm legally bound to this document. How can this be?

I have a contract with Greenlawn Cemetery, for preneed service. I have paid them as of now $616.00. I no longer can afford this, so I asked for my money to be returned, but they said they have a no refund policy. I was under the impression that the money was held in trust and was not the cemeteries money untill I used there services. Can they keep my money?

How can I get the court to set aside a document my previous atty had me sign? It was signed under duress and he did not state my interest in the marital home that my soon to be ex put in his father's name and then had his father put it in Trust so I couldn't get it? Divorce is not final and the court has a hearing scheduled for Mar 22nd to discharge the atty. I am in the process of a nasty divorce. My son is disabled and my father-in-law is evicting us on Mar 31st. I have been unable to find a place to move to that is accessible. How can I stay in our home? My father-in-law purchased the home with his VA Loan. He never lived here which was a requirement to purchase the home with his VA benefits. I made the payments with my income because my husband would not work steadily. My husband told me and my son's nurse that he and his father put the house in trust so that if we ever got a divorce I couldn't get it! What can I do? The attorney who represented me would not state to the court my interest in the house. He had me sign a document saying I would move by Apr 1st. Please help me!

I was a buyer in a short sale of a house. After the contract was written and submitted to the bank a pipe separated and did damage. So as not to cause further damage I had a Co come in and take care of the moisture and remove the carpets. In the mean time the first and second cannot agree, its over. Can I file a lien on the house to get my $1400 returned, ins won't pay?

I am a private label manufacturer, making food products for an out of state company (Company X) without a contract. Company X was responsible for their own packaging and labeling. I was responsible for producing the food. Company X requested a change in their formula to a 'new creamier texture'. I made the changes and informed them that a change was made to the ingredients, They requested that I ship the new product, using the same packaging without changes to the ingredient statement, reflecting the changes in the ingredients. The product had to be recalled because of an allergen that was undeclared on the label, due to the change. We had been instructed to ship mislabeled product prior to this, by the client, to use up current packaging inventories. Company X is seeking damages from me to cover the cost of the recall and lost future business. What are my liabilities?
