FAQs

Ownership of a car after a breakup typically depends on the title and loan agreements. If both parties are on the title, they may both have ownership rights. However, if only one person is responsible for the loan, that individual may have stronger claims to the vehicle. It's essential to review state laws regarding property division in divorce to determine the best course of action.
