Full question:
I fancy a teacher in school. He is young and is about 25 years old. I will be turning 16 soon. He has been responding to my flirty messaging for a while now but won’t go the whole way. I don’t like it when he talks to other older girls. I want to show him that I can satisfy him just as much. He refuses to do anything. If we do engage sexually and somehow it gets out, how much of a trouble will it be for him?

Answer:
In the given circumstance, the teacher will attract a lot of legal trouble if he engages in a sexual relationship with the minor. Since the age difference between the two parties is more than 3 years and female is below the age of consent (16 years) in Alaska, he will be charged with sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree per Alaska Stat. § 11.41.434.It reads:
(1) being 16 years of age or older, the offender engages in sexual penetration with a person who is under 13 years of age or aids, induces, causes, or encourages a person who is under 13 years of age to engage in sexual penetration with another person;
(2) being 18 years of age or older, the offender engages in sexual penetration with a person who is under 18 years of age, and the offender is the victim's natural parent, stepparent, adopted parent, or legal guardian; or
(3) being 18 years of age or older, the offender engages in sexual penetration with a person who is under 16 years of age, and
(A) the victim at the time of the offense is residing in the same household as the offender and the offender has authority over the victim; or
(B) the offender occupies a position of authority in relation to the victim.
(b) Sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree is an unclassified felony and is punishable as provided in AS 12.55.”
If charged per the above-quoted provision, he shall be punished per Alaska Stat. §§ 11.81.250, 12.55.035, 12.55.125 which prefers up to 20 to 99 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000.
