What Do I Do About a Father Abusing His Children?

Full question:

If my daughter's father is living in a 1bedroom apartment with 3boys, and a woman who has bitten two of his children. My daughter also has problems going to the bathroom which his 2yr old son has aswell. The father revealed to me that he rims the boy's anus to try to help even though the boy's pediatrician said it doesn't help. How do I keep this man away from my daughter so he never is allowed to harm her and can I win on my own or do I need an attorney? I can't seem to find a good one.

Answer:

If the children are being abused and you fail to act it can lead to serious lifelong consequences. If child abuse is suspected, it should be reported by a doctor and if a doctor hears a father is “rimming” his son and doesn’t take immediate action he could go to jail and be fined. You need to protect your children and persist in hiring an attorney or whatever you need to do to to prevent child abuse. The Child Protective Service may also get involved.
