FAQs

Valid reasons for emancipation can include situations where a minor is facing neglect, abuse, or an unsafe living environment. Other reasons may involve the desire for independence, the ability to support oneself financially, or the need to make decisions regarding education and healthcare. Each case is evaluated individually by the court, which considers the minor's maturity and ability to live independently.
