Do we have legal recourse for undisclosed neighborhood fees?
We purchased a home in 7/09. On the disclosure statement the previous owners listed the neighborhood fees as $150 a year. However we've recently found that through quarterly payments we will be paying approximately $460 a year. Do we have legal recourse on this matter?
Can we recover mold damage costs from the seller in Tennessee?
We closed on our house in TN on Aug 31 of this year. Last week we discovered mold in basements finished walls. They disclosed a leaky basment that had ben repaired with no previous mold. Subsequent investigation into the problem resulted in pictures of previous mold in the same walls that was not disclosed in the house disclousures prior to purchase. Can we recoup the cost of mold damages from the seller since we now have to tear apart the basement to remove the mold from the house and they failed to tell us this had been a problem before?

if some one comits suicide in a house you are selling do you have to disclose this by law.
Who is responsible for repairs after a deck collapse and water damage?
I recently bought a home. Upon purchase, I had the home inspected. Within the last week, my deck collapsed and exposed massive water damage, including subflooring and 2X10's that support the home. None of this was found or disclosed. Who is responsible for repairs? The home is 12 years old and we've owned it for 4 months.
Is a seller required to install a radon mitigation system after inspection?
Is the seller of a home legally required to install a mitigation system for elevated radon levels discovered upon inspection, or is simply disclosing the problem formally/in writing to the buyer allowed?
