Emancipation of Minor

What can my brother do he is 15 years old and my mother has custody of him but there are to many fights at home because of her new boyfriend my brother wants to go live with my dad but my mom said she would call the police what can he do? And can i do anything to help him im 21and i live with my dad.

What is the legal age for a child to leave home in Utah. Girl is graduating May 20, 2011, and will turn 18 on June 22, 2011.

can my 16 year old daughter move to another town live on her own to attend high school there if she has permission by both parents to do so?

I live in Texas. My 17 year old daughter who I have 50/50 custody for six years, is all of a sudden refusing to come home on my week. Two weeks ago she snicked out of my house and had her 18 yr old boyfriend pick her up and then didn't go to school. Ended up at her mom's house. Who wasn't home. She told me she'll come when she feels like it. She does not want to follow my house rules and has been acting out and lying since she turned 17. And I will not allow her to see a certain her boyfriend now. At her mom's she is allowed pretty much anything. And is left on her own a lot. I'm very worried she is heading down the wrong road. IF there isn't anything legally I can do to have her come home, then I think she needs to stay with her mom permanently. I cannot have her coming in and out of the house whenever she wants. I have other children and need to set precedent. And she has very much hurt her step mom and our other kids by doing this. Will I be in contempt if I tell her she just needs to stay at her mom's permanently? Please help, I have been a divorced for over 6 years and have never had any issues before, and my other two daughters are very happy to come home.

My granddaughter is 13 yrs. old and is being verbally abused by her mentally ill mother. At what age can she choose which parent to live with in Minnesota. My son (her father) is living with us and my granddaughter stays here part time and stays with her mother part time. She's recently been saying 'I don't want to go home to my mother'. Her mother is calling her a whore, a bitch, saying she is stupid and no one likes her. I know this is a very impressionable age and fear for my granddaughter's well being. We've been to court and the guardian ad litem thought it ok for my granddaughter to live part time with each parent even though the courts knew the mother had a history of mental illness since the age of nine. .
