Emancipation of Minor

How old you have to be to become emacipated?

My husband and I are not yet divorced, but we have been seperated for over 1 year. He lives in Las Vegas and I live in Utah. I currently am not employed and I am living with my parents while looking for a job and a home for my children and myself. Because I am not working, he feels it is in the best interest if our children that he just show up today and take the children back to Vegas with him, which I do not want happening and they do not want to go, especially our 16 year old daughter who just had a baby of her own. I was told by a hospital that with the birth of her own child, she is now emancipated, which I would assume she has the right to make her own choice in this matter. Can you tell me if this is correct or if she has the right to choose where she wants to stay due to her age?

My siutation with my parents haven't been the best for a few years now. They are seperated, which makes communication a struggle. My mother is emotionaly unstable, and my father has postpolio, which makes his nerves on edge constantly. Sometimes, we all get along, though most the time we don't. I'm not physically abused. We have tried a counselor; not successful. I believe they may mean the best, but are stuck behind a fog screen. I know they don't make the smartest deicisions for me. I'm 16 years old, will be 17 in early March. I believe I know myself best, and am mature for my age, therefore can make the best decisions for my myself. My situation is becoming more severe recently, and I want out. I have a job with a steady income. I have saved up too since I was young. I could support myself. My question for you is though I'm young, and am not physically abused, is emancipation an option for me?

My boyfriends dad wants to get him emancipated. So, will it be granted by court if the father of the minor is the one that wants to go through with the emancipation?

My girlfriend just turned 17 and we just had a baby. Her mom doesn't like me staying there with her and the baby, so I cant help her with the baby. I was wandering if she could be emancipated.
