Construction Liens

An neighbor did some work on my home which was done improperely and I refused to pay him as much as he requested. He filed a lien on my home. How is that possible in AZ. He does not have judgement or a contract with me nor did he file a 20 day notice What do I do and how do I get this lien removed from my home

iF AN OWNER FAILS TO SEND A CA-020-09 NOTICE OF COMPLETION TO A SUB CONTRACTOR WHO HAS FILED A 20 DAY PRELIM, WHAT RIGHTS DOES THE SUBCONTRACTOR HAVE TO COLLECT MONIES STILL OWED AFTER 30 DAYS PAST THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WAS FILED?

I am a contractor and did work on a property in Maine prior to the sale of the home for which I have not been paid. Closing took place on 12/20/2010. It is my understanding that this was not disclosed at closing, otherwise payment for my services would have been issued at that time either by the seller or the title company. My question is what should I do next and is there a time limit for me to take action?

Our construction company registered a Materialman's Lien for material and labor against a home located in Flower Mound, TX in Jan 2004. In June 2005 Wells Fargo sold the same home to another homeowner without paying us. As the lien was a substantial amount, $760,000 what rights do we have regarding this lien, as we never released Wells Fargo from their obligation, never collected from the current homeowner who was the original purchaser from the bank. What is the statute of limitations in the state of Texas to collect against a M & M lien, and did we have to do anything more at the county to keep it current?

In Virginia, I am a sub contractor filing a warrant in debt on a contractor i did work for, My question is, can I subpoena the records of the home owners or the home owners showing that they have paid the contractor for my work?
